REGISTER AT SHOW OFFICE

Please register at the show office to pick up your exhibitor passes.  Exhibitor passes are for sales staff working in your exhibit booth, not family members or friends attending show. You will receive a maximum of four exhibitor passes. If more than four people will be working your booth, please supply a list of names by January 25. We will check these individuals through the exhibitor entrance.

WIRELESS INTERNET

Is available for any computer that is able to receive wireless signals. Cost is paid online by credit card only and is $4.95 per day or $14.95 for a week. Directions will be available at the registration desk.

 

ELECTRICITY

If you need electricity and did not indicate this on your contract, please order electricity by mailing a $30.00 payment to our office. Exhibitors must supply their own grounded extension cord within the booth. Grounded extension cords are required. No light-weight residential cords, no power strips, or clip-on spot lights are allowed.

 

EXHIBITOR PARKING

Complimentary park is available for exhibitors and the public.

 

VEHICLE DISPLAY

For gas powered vehicles, batteries must be disconnected, fuel at minimum level and gas caps taped or locked.

 

SHOW DECORATOR

Spielman’s Event Services is the Official Show Decorator. It is show policy that all table must be skirted. You can use your own table and chairs.

2014 HOTEL

The Official Show Hotel is the Fairfield Inn & Suites 605 32nd Ave SW, Cedar Rapids.

Directions:  From I-380 take exit 17 (33rd Ave SW towards Hawkeye Downs), head west on 33rd Ave SW, then turn right onto 6th Street SW and travel ½ block to the hotel’s entrance.

SALES TAX PERMIT

If you plan to sell any taxable items in your booth you must have an Iowa Sales Tax Permit. A temporary tax permit will be available at check-in for those exhibitors who do not have a sales tax number.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Refer to the Liability section on your contract.

Proof of insurance will be forwarded to Iowa Show Productions, Inc. If you do not have liability insurance, please use the link below for an affordable option to cover you for the show.

2014 MOVE-OUT

All exhibits must be removed from Hawkeye Downs Expo Center by 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 9.

 

MUSIC

Exhibitors are not allowed to play music or videotapes with copyrighted music backgrounds in their booth due to Federal Copyright Liability laws. For more information contact our office.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

The Hawkeye Downs Expo Center has an exclusive food and beverage policy. No food or beverages( including intoxicating beverages) may be sold or distributed  without prior approval.

 

EXHIBITOR FREIGHT

The Hawkeye Downs Expo Center does not receive shipped freight. Please inform your freight company to deliver on Thursday or Friday during set up. If you plan to ship exhibit materials after the show, please confirm with your freight company during the show.
