Being Confident in Camo
Designed for anyone wanting to join the ranks of Iowa Deer Hunters. Geared toward women, the class will be valuable for youngsters and all those wanting to get started. Women have rocked the hunting world in recent years, and their numbers continue to soar. But, hunting isn't simply a matter of grabbing a bow or gun and heading to the deer woods. There are a host of variables to consider and numerous lessons that must be learned inside and out before your first hunt. It's crucial to become educated by someone you are comfortable with. Otherwise, knowledge, safety and even ethics may unknowingly be compromised. Spending time in a class surrounded by like-minded hunters to be who are there for the same reason provides the ultimate learning experience.
You'll be awakened to all things hunting; safety, laws, how to find the right clothing and equipment for you, strategies, ethics and much more. Registration is open to anyone who is interested in hunting, whether you're a newbie or a veteran.
Keri Butt uses her own hunting experiences, both positive and
negative; in order to give her students a well-rounded view of
what hunting is all about. You'll not only spend your afternoon
learning about hunting, but you'll also be entertained as Keri
shares stories throughout the class, some of which are
humorous and some that touch on more serious matters.
Each one though will reflect upon the valuable lessons and
epic humility that hunting has taught her.
